Background

Before joining DoCoMo Labs USA  in 2007, I worked in the Metropolitan Wireless Mesh Networking Group with Nokia-Siemens-Networks and in the Mobile IP group with Nokia Research Center. I received a Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles  in 2000, a MS in EE from University of California, Los Angeles, as well as a MS from Ecole Centrale Paris in 1995. I have been a visiting researcher at Stanford University (1997-2000) in the EES&OR department (now MS&E), a visiting scholar at MIT in the CSAIL department in 2003,  a visiting scholar in the EECS department at University of California, Berkeley in 2004, and a visiting professor at Keio University in 2006-07 in the WIDE project.
